Why a quote form

"How much for 30 servings?" is not a quote request

A custom cake is priced with about ten pieces of information: the date, the number of servings, the tiers, the flavours, the decoration, delivery, allergies. By direct message, those details arrive over four or five exchanges, when they arrive at all. A quote form asks for all of them at once, in order, and leaves you time to answer with a real quote.

The Patissio form is yours. You decide on the fields, the wording, the photos requested and the options offered. A cake designer does not need the same questions as a sweet caterer: each one configures their form from their dashboard, with no developer.

Once the quote is accepted, the deposit is paid online and the order enters your planning with its capacity cost. You request the balance before delivery. You no longer chase transfers, and a date is only booked once it is paid.

Custom quotes with Patissio

Is the quote form included in the free plan?
No. The customisable quote form, quote sending and deposits are included in the Pro and Premium plans. The Starter plan offers the showcase website and the catalogue shop with full payment.
Can I ask for photos in the form?
Yes. A photo field lets the customer attach several inspiration images. They are compressed in their browser and attached to the request.
What happens when the customer accepts the quote?
They pay the deposit online. Once payment is confirmed, the order becomes confirmed, the date is booked in your planning and the remaining balance is recorded.
Can I edit a quote after sending it?
Yes. You can correct and resend it; the version history is kept. After acceptance, you adjust the order and the balance from the order page.
